Time gone by...

I'm sure you all got a kick of Mitch's last post. When I tell anyone the story, they all look at me like, 'well duh, of course it was fake' but I fell for it, it seemed real to me.

School is coming along for me, and I'm more then one third of the way done! Woot woot on being over 400 hours!!! Summer has always gone by really fast for me, and hopefully this one will as well. Right now I'm schedualed to graduate September 25th :) When is Mitch schedualed to graduate? Don't ask... so depressing... years and years. The people I meet at school are so so diverse and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to get to know them. Life long friends and clients that teach me more about myself then I ever could. You'll be interested to all know that I hold the high score for Horror story clients. yes... some days it's very hard. Luckily Mitch is there to catch me and take me to Cafe Rio for some rehab.

Most of our wedding plans are set, we still haven't done engagements, but it's my fault, I have been very indesisive. Anything else? Oh yes! There might be an addition to our small little family when we move to Logan. :) Mitch is making me wait till we get our own place, which I think is very level-headed of him.

No officer, it's really not mine!

You are all probably curious as to how I (Mitch) popped the question. It all started when jokingly I told Heidi that I was going to propose in a crazy way and fake my death. I thought she would hate the idea and make me promise not to do it like that. Instead we got talking and we both thought something funny and kind of unique would be best. This is like November, mind you. Well from that point on I was really trying hard to come up with something equally creative. It didn't take a really long time. I had Picked how I was going to ask by mid-December. The only problem was getting it to work and not be too offensive. I was scheming and rubbing my hands for a while on the details. I was thinking about prison, I was thinking car accidents, i was thinking all kinds of things. Then it hit me that most of those are not really possible without her getting that something was up. That would prove to be the hardest part of the whole thing. Surprise. Heidi has this talent for getting the truth out of me, so keeping a secret for two months was not going to be easy.
Anyway, it was all planned and good to go about middle of January. Then some complications came up. My accomplice bailed on me, and the time was difficult. I had to pull some last minute strings the week of, but with some luck and timing, everything worked out.
It was February seventh, super bowl Sunday. I woke up way earlier than I usually do, incredibly nervous. I got ready for church and did all that. The whole time trying as best as i could to not be suspicious. Everyone in my family was making last minute plan finalization's while Heidi is in the other room. At church everything was fine until Heather leaned over and whispered, "two hours." looking at the clock made me nervous and i could almost feel myself shaking. I was having a few thoughts about how this could all go terribly wrong.
The time came. I had been doing homework to keep myself from looking anxious. I called my house and my mom (former Oscar winner[and it was needed]) picked up the phone and made it sound like my Aunt needed something to be picked up from her house. I Had slipped the ring into my jacket pocket earlier in anticipation for a quick exit with Heidi. I put on my jacket and shoes explaining that we needed to pick something up. Heidi while getting ready put some things in my pockets, like candy , and was hugging me around the waist. I was making sure she didn't feel the ring in my pocket, for the record, that was nearly impossible. We hopped in the car, I emptied my pockets except the ring, and we started backing out of the driveway.
My friend Bryan was just down the street waiting for me to do this. He got in the way of me backing out and we got out of our cars. We starting arguing, not really well, and started by pushing. It was really hard not to laugh during all this, and I was too nervous to act normal. I told Bryan he had to punch me to make it real. He took advantage and punched me in the ribs a few times. To be honest that was my favorite part, he actually punched me. I also prepared an officer too. He knew what was going on. Also note, there was a lady walking her dog, that didn't know this was staged, it was hilarious to see her running out of there. The officer split us up and put us on the curb. He searched Bryan first and found nothing, so he moved on to me. He was asking if I had any weapons or anything. At this time, Heidi is out of the car and to me it looks like she is going inside because she is embarrassed. The officer searching me finds the ring in my pocket and asks what it is. At this point I told him it didn't belong to me and that it was Heidi's. The look on Heidi's face was priceless, she looked half mad and half scared. He called Heidi over and told me to give her what was in my pocket. I was already on my knees so I just popped the question right there. Heidi looked at me with her jaw wide open. the best is that her first reaction was to throw her phone and yell, "Mitch!" She shoved me, then hugged me, then kissed me, then said yes, then put on the ring. We watched the video after and laughed for a while about it. My friend Bryan hurt his arm somewhere in the whole ordeal, poor kid.
That about does it, in a nut shell. I am glad it all worked out, and even more glad she still said yes.

Ch.ch.ch.ch.changes.

So I know your all dying to know about my appointment, but after the experience I decided I do not want to take the privilege of letting you experience it for the first time in real life. And for those boys, well it's a secret that is REALLY better left unsaid.
This week lots of changes such as: (oh by the way, I make LOTS of lists, you'll see)
Became engaged to the love of my eternity :D
Gave my puppy dog to a nice loving family :'(
